Throughout my stay, every member of staff was aware of my allergies... Out of the whole delicious menu there were only a small handful of dishes that I could not order and I have had NO reactions, not even minor ones. Unheard of!'

‘Neil and Sarah-Jane run The Belfry with dedication and commitment and are clearly experienced and capable at dealing with guests with specific dietary needs. The food is made in-house, to a high standard, and the owners are proud of its provenance and low food-miles.
I felt cherished and what was excellent was that they made zero fuss about any of my special food,

However, judges were slightly concerned that there was very little in the way of written guidance or protocols should the very allergen-aware owner/chef not be on site and in charge.
