The fourth year of the awards, 2017, saw a major step forward in terms of recognition and awareness both of 'freefrom' in food service and of the FreeFrom Eating Out Awards.
The presentation in November in the conference theatre at Food Matters Live (see the short video on the winners page) was extremely well attended and saw the launch of our new FreeFrom Eating Out Awards Google map.
We believe that the map, which shows all awards winners for the last three years, will be a real game changer for the awards. It has already been embedded on a number of bloggers' and entrants' sites and is being promoted by the Anaphylaxis Campaign. We hope that by the time the awards open again in June there will not be a 'freefrom in food-service' related site that will not carry our map – thus enormously raising the profile of the awards and hugely enhancing their value for both entrants and sponsors.
As in previous years we will be offering category sponsorship but we are also seeking a sponsor for a 'freefrom' presentation dinner at Excel after next year's presentation – more details in due course.

A new category for newcomers to freefrom in food service. Open both to entirely new establishments and to existing eateries who have decided to offer a specifically allergen aware/freefrom menu.
The winner will also be offered mentoring from one of our training colleagues.

For establishments of any kind that have focused on providing safe gluten-free options for those eating out. To enter this category the establishment must have been awarded Coeliac UK's GF accreditation.
